This is not the first time I am reading about Visa hassles on blog. In fact, I think anything related to passport and visa takes time today. Most people prefer having agents than doing it themselves. Outsource your work to touts, sometimes the worse thing.

Well, the Indian High Commission has just outsourced part of its visa logistics so I guess we are all on a downward spiral. I do not think anyone particularly cares for ‘transparency’ since you are given permission to enter a country on that country’s will… It is not an automatic right despite John Lennon’s imagination

AD: I do not know if you read a recent post ‘India – the Des Des’ but see if you have time. You will see in the links below many additional readings.

Visas are harder to get for everyone, to go everywhere. Systems are also constrained due to the sheer number of travellers growing.
