For the non punjabis, this phrase means ‘i know you’. Coming from Steve Carell‘s mouth, it doesnt quite sound like punjabi though.
In a blink-your-ears-and-miss-it moment from the super fun movie Get Smart, this is precisely what he says to the Indian Giant in the WWE, popularly known as ‘The Great Khali‘.
The first time I didn’t even realize what he was saying. Then it hit me…this weird thing that Mr Carell is saying while getting bashed up by a seven feet tall monster human is actually punjabi!

Talking of Steve Carell, i just love this guy. His character in ‘The Office‘ is so insanely awkwardly horribly sadistically nasty, yet sometimes he comes across as a person you just feel for. He grosses me out most of the times, yet i don’t hate him as much as i think i could.
Back to the topic…watch the movie if you are a Steve Carell fan. Actually watch it if you are an Anne Hathaway fan, a Rock fan, or a Khali fan. Or if you simply feel like going out and having some fun!

So Khali is in that movie..Indian news channels (aka star) go haywire about Khali and about offers he has got from Hollywood. I presume he has a small role there. I have read so much about Office on blogs that I plan to rent a DVD soon.

Khali does have a khali-peeli role in the movie. He is the villian’s hitman who cries like a baby and turns good in the end.

I’d even want to see him in Hindi movies as well smashing the so called baby actors. Then the overall climax of the movie will change instantly.
I am a khali fan, he is a big hit back in India, I now know why WWE decided to make him a star
I am also big fan of khali. I had seen that movie. It is a very intresting movie. U must see that. Really these movies and players like KHALI are making branding od India.
I have seen Khali once in Delhi airport and man he is very gaint but cute too. People were all around him for an autograph and he was simply smiling and saying “Namaste” to all. I like his Punjabi attitude.
