The Awards Cometh
I was a lone ranger
Doing my blogging thing
I worked through the fall
Kept going into the spring
I wrote short stories
I talked about current news
I cribbed about Indian politicians
Sometimes went overboard with my views
I am funnily sarcastic
I am sarcastically fun
Just getting started
Far from being done
Blogging made me new friends
Got to know many a interesting folk
Life’s gotten exciting
Blogging ain’t no joke
My friends appreciate me
Amit says my blog is cool
As do Nita and Kiran
I am good; not the complete fool.
This was a week of awards
I felt like a child playing with clay
When out of the blue
I got awarded best blog of the day
Kiran added another to the kitty.
By giving me the award of proximity.
Now here I am
Composing silly poetry
Thankful for the awards
They are oh so glittery
I thank you all for the support
Now my turn to share the love
