This time around, Anoop piqued my interest, and i have been watching the show. These singers are pretty awesome! @Kavi - I too think that most reality shows are contrived and not quite very real. I just watch the few that i do as regular TV shows...the drama is fun sometimes. On this topic, i read a report earlier that the three finalists in American Idol may have been predetermined....and i wont be surprised if that is true. @Amit - That's true. Anoop has already achieved a lot by going this distance...if he plans his career right and things shape up well, he can go places from here. @Nomad - That's true, and the professional thing to do. But your post reminded me of Indian Idol a couple years ago, when a guy called Ameya Date was out. He was clearly the best, and very down to earth, I remember most of India was disappointed.
