When I saw this ad, I was really impressed on two levels. First, the fact that a geek is the one whose work makes people’s lives simple, and people such as him should be considered celebrities; and second, the pride in seeing an Indian as the head honcho of USB technology.
In a fairly recent movie called “Monsters vs Aliens”, Stephen Colbert plays the voice of the US president who sees earth under attack by aliens. He is sitting with his chief staff and here’s his first response line – “We need to get our most skilled technicians on this immediately. Get India on the phone!”
We were six Indians in the whole theater and boy there was cheering!

@ms – I think i read somewhere that the person in the ad isnt the real Ajay, but an actor.
Nevertheless, i think this is a brilliant ad. It is important for people to know more about the geniuses who invent the technology we all take for granted.
