They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. A Laddu weighing 151Kg should then be the perfect gift to impress Lord Ganesha.
It may have taken multiple men many days to prepare, but the rewards will hopefully be adequate compensation for the hard work!

great! at least the laddoo will be distributed later to devotees as prasad. i feel depressed when i see litres and litres of milk bathing gigantic statues in a country where millions of children go hungry. yeh hai india!!
And the flavour of the season in Mumbai is Craneberry Modaks ! Its not large in size but a kilo of that stuff going at Rs.1500/- is some dent on a middle class wallet. But then again, that was not designed for the middle class wallet !
Two minutes on the lips and a lifetime on the hips. Thats another story ! Indeed !
@kavi – Are you sure they are supposed to be eaten, and not stowed away in a little locker somewhere?
Your cranberry modaks remind me of the ghirardeli cranberry filled chocolate i used to love back in New york though…would love to get another one of those!
@rush.Me – Isnt food the best part of all the fancy festivals!?
Just sometime back a minister from AP or Karnataka made a Diamond and Emerald crown for a god. I think the cost was almost equal to feed a small country for a year.
